Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated yarn that is drafted by using a fine spinning frame and performs water-absorbing and quick-dry function and to provide a woven or knitted fabric using the conjugated yarn.SOLUTION: The conjugated yarn is produced by drafting a water-absorbing staple fiber bundle A and a synthetic staple fiber bundle B by use of a fine spinning frame and has a fiber length ratio of the staple fiber bundle A to the staple fiber bundle B of A:B=1:(0.8 to 1.2). The conjugated yarn is in such a state that part of the staple fiber bundle B is exposed on the surface of the conjugated yarn when viewed from the fiber cross section; and the staple fiber bundle A and the staple fiber bundle B are separated and one of the staple fiber bundles gathers in a substantially sector shape. The woven or knitted fabric uses the conjugated yarn.
