Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact differential superior in workability in assembling, while being properly lubricated by a lubricant.SOLUTION: A differential includes a differential case 10, a pinion shaft 20 having shaft portions 21 at both end sides, and a small-diameter portion 22 at a rotation center side with respect to the shaft portions 21, and having stepped faces 23 respectively between the shaft portion 21 and the small-diameter portion 22, a pair of pinion gears 30 having insertion holes 21 to which the shaft portions 21 are inserted, and rotated on the shaft portions 21, a pair of side gears 40 rotated on a first axis O1, and engaged with the pair of pinion gears 30, and a collar 50 for guiding a lubricant to slide contact portions of the shaft portions 21 and the pinion gears 30. An outer diameter D51o of the collar 50 is larger than an inner diameter D32 of the insertion hole 32, the collar 50 includes a bent portion 52 projecting radially inward and locked with the stepped face 23 in a direction of a second axis O2, and a slit 53 extended in the direction of the second axis O2. When a width W53 of the slit 53 is increased, a diameter of the collar 50 is expanded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
