PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a situation where a household electrical appliance becomes in an undesirable state.SOLUTION: A household electrical appliance 100a according to an embodiment sets a state of the household electrical appliance 100a on the basis of instructions which are a plurality of instructions included in a control instruction sequence and are for setting the state of the household electrical appliance 100a. The household electrical appliance 100a sets a state of the household electrical appliance 100a to be a previous state before a first setting unit 40 sets a state, when a plurality of instructions included in a control instruction sequence includes an instruction whose setting of the state of the household electrical appliance 100a by the first setting unit 40 has failed.
