Abstract:
There are disclosed polymer-based foam compositions comprising a polymer; and up to 20 wt. % talc particles, based on the total weight of the composition. The talc particles are microcrystalline talc. The polymer is selected from a thermoplastic, a thermoplastic elastomer, and a rubber. There are further disclosed uses of the said polymer-based foam compositions, products comprising the said polymer-based foam compositions, and methods of formation of the said polymer-based foam compositions.
