Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator in which volume change caused by expansion or contraction of a heat medium in a heat medium flow channel is absorbed and eased, and in which air bubbles generated in the heat medium and low molecular substances melted in the heat medium are efficiently removed, in order to stabilize circulation of the heat medium in the heat medium flow channel.SOLUTION: The gas-liquid separator includes: an expansion tank that is connected to a heat medium flow channel in which a heat medium circulates, in order to absorb and ease volume change caused by expansion or contraction of the heat medium; and a separation tank equipped with a gas-liquid separating mechanism, in order to separate air bubbles contained in the heat medium circulating in the heat medium flow channel. The separation tank is installed in the heat medium flow channel. Further, the expansion tank is connected to the heat medium flow channel via the separation tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
