Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel ammonia synthesis catalyst and ammonia producing method which can synthesize ammonia at low temperature.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a catalyst for synthesizing ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen. The ammonia synthesis catalyst comprises a metal that is carried by a carrier composed of a semiconductor including a transition element. The present invention also provides an ammonia producing method using the ammonia synthesis catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: None
