Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device and an imaging system, capable of forming a virtual entire celestial sphere image in which a deterioration of an image quality is suppressed while suppressing the number of cameras set in a circumference of a virtual viewpoint.SOLUTION: An optical device (camera systems 6-1 to 6-3) is used when a virtual image is formed on the basis of an image from imaging devices (cameras C1 to C3) set at a position out of the virtual view point as if it was photographed in a virtual view point 11. The optical device comprises convex lenses L1 to L3 in which the position of the virtual view point is set as a focal point; and reflection parts M1 to M3 which reflect a light beam incident from the convex lens to the imaging device, have a mirror surface with a form along an ellipse or object surface with the position of an optical center of the imaging device serving as a focal point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
