Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type washing and drying machine capable of effectively removing static electricity charged on laundry.SOLUTION: A vertical type washing and drying machine includes: a vertical type washing tub (3); a heating device (60) for drying laundry in the washing tub (3); an electricity removing ion generating device (70) for generating electricity removing ions supplied to the washing tub (3); a blower device (50) for blowing out the electricity removing ions generated in the electricity removing ion generating device (70) to the inside of the washing tub (3); and a control device for controlling the heating device (60), the electricity removing ion generating device (70) and the blower device (50). The control device performs a drying operation for drying the laundry in the washing tub (3) by the heating device (60), and at least after the termination of the drying operation, in a state where the laundry in the washing tub (3) is stationary with respect to the washing tub (3), performs an electricity removing operation for supplying the electricity removing ions generated by the electricity removing ion generating device (70) to the washing tub (3) by the blower device (50).
