Abstract:

A vehicle operation device used in an autonomous vehicle (C) autonomously controlled to drive along a determined driving route, the vehicle operation device comprising: a destination setting unit configured to set a destination (D) for determining the driving route to an optional area in a parking lot; a route setting unit configured to determine the driving route to the area of the destination (D) according to route search conditions including a current position and the destination (D); a parking controller configured to control the autonomous vehicle (C) to park in the area of the destination (D); a parking frame detection unit configured to detect an available parking frame located around the autonomous vehicle (C) so that the autonomous vehicle (C) can be parked therein, wherein the parking frame detection unit detects the available parking frame after reaching the area of the destination (D), and the parking controller controls the autonomous vehicle (C) to park in the available parking frame in the area of the destination (D).
