Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of adjusting an oil flow rate returned to a compressor with a simple structure, a refrigeration cycle device, and a control method of an oil return amount.SOLUTION: An oil separator 18 includes: a housing 30 into which refrigerant gas discharged from a compressor 16 flows; an oil return pipe 24 returning oil separated in the housing 30 to the compressor 16; a capillary pipe 26 continuing to the oil return pipe 24, and more contracting a pipeline diameter than that of the oil return pipe 24; an electric heater 41 heating oil flowing in the capillary pipe 26; and a heating control unit 50 controlling the electric heater 41 so as to become a target oil temperature at which an oil flow rate flowing in the capillary pipe 26 becomes a preset target oil flow rate, on the basis of the differential pressure of the inlet and outlet of the capillary pipe 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
