PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a battery module of novel configuration that can be made compact as a whole, for example.SOLUTION: A battery module includes a first housing and a battery cell, for example. The first housing has a first wall. A plurality of battery cells are housed in the first housing, and arranged in one direction while having a second housing, respectively. The second housing is provided with a recess opening toward the first wall or the side of other adjoining battery cell, and housing an adhesive, and has a second wall bonded to the first wall or other battery cell via the adhesive.
