Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with conventional shop information transmitting apparatuses that no information can be acquired unless acquisition attempt is made at an intended timing by a user positively seeking the information.SOLUTION: A shop information transmitting apparatus 1 comprises a shop-related information storage 101 in which shop information and shop-related information including shop position information are stored; a receiver 105 that repetitively receives from a terminal device of a user, user position information indicating a current position of the user; a shop position information specifying unit 107 that specifies shop position information indicating a position of a short distance from the position indicated by user position information received by the receiver 105 to a position indicated by shop position information; and a transmitter 111 that transmits shop information contained in the shop-related information including the shop position information specified by the shop position information specifying unit 107. The shop information transmitting apparatus can obtain information on shops nearby even at a timing not intended by the user.
