Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of alkali earth metal aluminate phosphor excellent in moisture resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a phosphor including preparing phosphor particles containing alkali earth aluminate having a composition represented by the following formula (1), contacting the prepared phosphor particles with a liquid medium containing water, obtaining purified phosphor particles by removing at least a part of the contacted liquid medium, obtaining phosphate compound attached phosphor particles by attaching a phosphate compound to a surface of the purified phosphor particles and heat treating the phosphate compound attached phosphor particles at 500°C to 700°C. (Sr,Eu)AlO(1), where x satisfies 0.05≤x≤0.4 and a part of Sr may be substituted by at least one element selected from Mg, Ca, Ba and Zn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
