Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recommendation program for recommending a commodity of another category, on the basis of preference of a user with respect to a commodity of a certain category, and an information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 includes: mean vector calculation means 102 which calculates an average of feature vectors, as a category mean vector, for each of categories of commodities, from the feature vectors associated with the commodities, and calculates an average of feature vectors by category, as a user mean vector, on a commodity used bye one user; preference vector calculation means 103 which calculates a preference vector from a difference between the user mean vector and the category mean vector of a first category; recommendation vector calculation means 104 which calculates the sum of the category mean vector and the preference vector of a second category, to calculate a recommendation vector in the second category; and commodity recommendation means 105 which extracts a commodity having a feature vector close to the recommendation vector from the second category, and recommends it to the one user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
