Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid that a physical body is affected by an adverse effect of ozone when an internal combustion engine is in an idling state, in a constitution in which ozone is supplied to an intake passage and an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: Ozone can be supplied to an exhaust passage 16 of an engine 10 from an ozone supply device 30, and ozone control processing is performed by an ozone control part 41b. In the ozone control processing, when the engine 10 is in an idling state, an ozone amount discharged from an exhaust outlet 16a of the exhaust passage 16 is estimated as an ozone discharge amount, and an exhaust calculation value which is integrated with the ozone discharge amount is calculated. Then, it is determined whether or not a discharge integration value is larger than a discharge limit value, and when the discharge integration value becomes larger than the discharge limit value, the support of ozone to the exhaust passage 16 from the ozone supply device 30 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
