Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the production efficiency of a converter step is deteriorated by auxiliary material charging using a scrap chute.SOLUTION: Provided is an auxiliary material charging device comprising: a container storing a vessel sealed with auxiliary material; and a carrying apparatus carrying the container and charging the vessel from the container to the inside of a converter. The carrying apparatus includes: a take-out mechanism of charging the vessel to the inside of the converter; a driving mechanism of driving the carrying apparatus; and a tilt rail of guiding the vessel to the throat of the converter. The take-out mechanism can charge the vessel into the converter in a state of being tilted to the side of hot pig metal charging, and the driving mechanism can move the carrying apparatus to a position being the outside of the range of either operation of the hot pig ion charging or scrap charging.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
