Abstract:
Disclosed is a reducing agent decreasing method for promoting reduction while reducing an amount of a reducing agent by inputting a carbon-containing composite material into slag containing valuable metal in a stainless steel refining process. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the reducing agent decreasing method in refining stainless steel: includes a decarburization step of removing carbon by taking oxygen; and a reduction step of inputting a reducing agent so as to reduce the valuable metal, wherein the carbon-containing composite material is inputted before the reducingagent is inputted.
