Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can achieve efficient reduction of consumption power.SOLUTION: A compound machine 11 comprises a toner residual amount detection sensor 29 as a residual quantity detection part 27, a power supply part 28, a storage control part, and a power supply interval control part. The toner residual amount detection sensor 29 detects a residual amount of toners which are consumed image formation by an image formation part 15. The power supply part 28 supplies electric power required for detection of the residual amount of toners to the toner residual amount detection sensor 29. The storage control part so controls as to store data concerning a detection result of the residual amount of toners detected by the toner residual amount detection sensor 29 in a hard disc 17. During sleep mode, the power supply interval control part so controls as to reduce an interval of power supply by the power supply part 28 according to the residual amount of toners based on the detection result stored in the hard disc 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
