Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a separator for a power storage device, which is superior in heat resistance, and enables the enhancement of initial charge and discharge characteristics of a battery; a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including such a separator; and a slurry for manufacturing such a separator.SOLUTION: A separator for a power storage device comprises: a porous base film including a polyolefin resin as a primary component; and a porous layer on at least one face of the porous base film, which includes an inorganic filler and a resin binder. In primary particle diameter distribution measurement based on the volume of the inorganic filler, the content of particles of 0.2 μm or smaller in primary particle diameter is less than 10 mass% to the mass of the inorganic filler. The inorganic filler has a median diameter of 0.5-0.8 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
