Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor that, when a signal is processed on the basis of the result of a process by a first signal processing section, is able to shorten a wait time required for the result of the process by the first signal processing section.SOLUTION: An image sensor in which an image sensor layer and a signal processing layer are arranged in layers comprises: a plurality of pixels (111) that converts an optical image into an image signal; a first signal processing section (113) that detects a predetermined image area on the basis of the image signal; a first output terminal (112) that outputs the image signal to a second signal processing section included in an external device; a second output terminal (114) that outputs output area information relating to the predetermined image area, in order to perform a process in the second signal processing section; and a first input terminal (115) that inputs set data for the first signal processing section. The image sensor layer includes the plurality of pixels and the signal processing layer includes at least the first signal processing section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
