Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack of which the height can be prevented from becoming bulky even if a duct is formed.SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 comprises: a metallic lower case 20; a battery stack 30 that is assembled to the lower case 20; and an upper cover 80 that is assembled to the lower case 20 so as to cover the battery stack 30. The battery stack 30 is configured by stacking a plurality of batteries 32 while interposing resin insulation members 40 therebetween. In the lower case 20, an opening 22a is formed. On a surface 54a of the insulation member 40 closer to the lower case 20, a substantially U-shaped auxiliary piece 56 is formed. The auxiliary piece 56 is formed in such a manner that a cross section forms a rectangular duct D1 from the surface 54a of the insulation member 40 closer to the lower case 20 and the auxiliary piece 56 itself when the plurality of batteries 32 are stacked while interposing the insulation members 40 therebetween. A bottom face of the duct D1 is formed to close the opening 22a by inserting the bottom face itself into the opening 22a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
