Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a list display device and a list display method capable of optimizing a sort order of character string data containing ligatures, and thereby simply and quickly confirming the character data containing the ligatures on a list.SOLUTION: A list display device includes a storage device 2 in which a plurality of pieces of character string data is stored; a sort device 3 sorting the plurality of pieces of character string data in a character code order; a ligature decomposition device decomposing, in sorting, a ligature contained in the plurality of pieces of character string data into a plurality of original characters of the ligature; a substitution device 81 performing processing for substitution to all of the plurality of decomposed characters; a sort control device 7 controlling the sort device 3 so as to use the substituted character string data to the sorting; and a list display processing device 4 performing list display of the plurality of pieces of character string data according to an order of sorting from the sort device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
