PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like object cooling device which is provided at a sheet-like object transport process and cools sheet-like objects while transporting the sheet-like objects, and to provide a printer including the sheet-like object cooling device.SOLUTION: A sheet-like object cooling device 1 includes: a cylindrical body 11 including an outer peripheral surface on which sheet-like objects are transported; a cooling unit having a cooling surface which contacts with an inner peripheral surface 11a of the cylindrical body 11; and first fastening members which are inserted from the outer side to the inner side of the cylindrical body 11 so as to attach the cooling unit to the cylindrical body 11 in a state where the cooling surface is in contact with the inner peripheral surface 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
