PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for discharging memorial coins by using an existing automatic teller machine.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device comprises a display for accepting input of a transaction amount, and a plurality of denomination-classified storage containers for storing currency by denomination. At least one of the denomination-classified storage containers is set as a specific currency storage container for storing specific currency, and a specific currency discharge selection screen selectably displaying whether or not to discharge the specific currency is displayed on the display. When the discharge of the specific currency is selected on the specific currency discharge selection screen, currency whose amount is obtained by subtracting the amount equivalent to a face value of the specific currency from the transaction amount, and the specific currency are discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
