Abstract:
The present invention provides a remote state monitoring system capable of transmitting, to a remote monitoring unit, data required to grasp the condition of a structure using a wireless link even ifthere is a restriction, such as a small communication data quantity, peculiar to a wireless communication system. [Solution] A remote state monitoring system 10 comprises: an information gathering unit 12 that gathers information relating to the state of a structure; and a monitoring unit 14 that is connected via a communication link 16 and remotely monitors the structure. The information gathering unit 12 is provided with sensors each for measuring data indicating a physical quantity, and if a strain quantity exceeds a predetermined value, outputs this strain quantity and/or information indicating an abnormal state.
