Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows a communication terminal to more stably perform voice communication.SOLUTION: A voice communication terminal comprises: a network monitor unit which estimates the situation of a network on the basis of the receiving situation of packets received by its own device; a voice communication control unit which determines whether to compress voice data, in accordance with the estimated situation of the network; and a compression unit which, when the voice communication control unit determines to compress the voice data, compresses a data amount to be transmitted from its own device.
