Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a tablet accurately in a short time.SOLUTION: A tablet image clipping section 203 which clips a tablet image from image data obtained by imaging a tablet. A pattern recognition section 206 performs pattern recognition, to generate a recognition result indicating a candidate of the tablet included in the tablet image and accuracy thereof. An image matching section 209 performs matching between the tablet image and a template image corresponding to the candidate having high accuracy and included in the recognition result, and adds a matching degree between the template image and the tablet image to the recognition result, as similarity of the candidate having high accuracy. A tablet identifying section 212 performs screening based on tablet information of the candidate having high similarity and included in the recognition result and tablet information acquired from the tablet image, to identify the name of the tablet included in the tablet image.
