Abstract:
According to an embodiment, an electronic device performs processing to display, on a screen, a plurality of pieces of handwriting, which are candidates to be entered and are determined by a first stroke entered by handwriting. The display region for the plurality of pieces of handwriting includes at least both a first region displayed at a location corresponding to the input location of the first stroke, and a second region laterally adjacent to the first column. A first piece of handwriting having the highest priority among the plurality of pieces of handwriting is displayed at a first position within the first region, said first position being adjacent to the input location of the first stroke. A second piece of handwriting having the second highest priority among the plurality of pieces of handwriting is displayed at a second position within the first region, said second position being vertically adjacent to the first position.
