Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device of which light-emitting element can perform a light-emitting operation with excellent color reproducibility.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 30 is arranged on a transistor with an insulating layer 34 in between, and includes a lamination structure of a reflective electrode 35, a protective layer 37, an optical path adjustment layer 38, a first electrode 31, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode. The light-emitting element 30 is electrically connected to the transistor via a contact electrode 41. The protective layer 37 has a contact hole penetrating the protective layer 37. The contact electrode 41 has a first contact part 41a buried in a contact hole 41CT and a second contact part 41b on a surface of the protective layer 37. The protective layer 37 has a first insulating film 39 on the reflective electrode 35 and a second insulating film 42 on a surface of the first insulating film 39 patterned similarly to the second contact part 41b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
