Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome-shaped camera allowing an imaging unit to rotate while maintaining a constant positional relationship between a camera lens of the imaging unit and a an opening area of a shield case and while preventing field angle of a camera from being blocked by an opening end at the base end of the shield case.SOLUTION: A dome-shaped camera 10 has an imaging unit 13 which is disposed on a pedestal base 14 with the optical axis L oriented to an opening area 11 of the shield case 12. Between the pedestal base 14 and the imaging unit 13, a rotation conversion mechanism 15 for rotating the imaging unit 13 along the opening area 11 on a shaft 16 supporting an imaging unit 13 at a position different from the dome center O of the shield case 12. The rotation change mechanism 15 changes the distance M between a tilt rotation drive shaft 16 driving the imaging unit 13 and a rotation locus m of the camera lens 13A of the imaging unit 13 according to the opening area 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
