Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an R-T-B sintered magnet capable of stably manufacturing an R-T-B sintered magnet having excellent magnetic characteristics, where B, H, and H/Hhave high levels entirely, by using a heavy rare earth element RH as small as possible, and to provide an R-T-B sintered magnet obtained by that method.SOLUTION: An R-T-B main alloy composed of B amount, substantially similar to the R-T-B alloy conventionally used generally, and a secondary alloy containing Pr, B, Ga, Ti or Zr, and Fe as essential elements, are mixed and pulverized to produce a mixed alloy pulverization powder. For 100 mass% of the mixed alloy pulverization powder, 0.1-0.3 mass% of Ti or 0.19-0.57 of Zr are mixed and then molded, sintered, and heat-treated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
