Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of obtaining an output signal maintaining a desired S/N ratio, if a threshold voltage and the mobility of the amplifier transistor disperse.SOLUTION: A radiation detector includes a radiation sensor (1) which includes: a sensor element (3) which generates an electric signal based on the dose of an incident radiation; and an amplifier transistor (5) which amplifies the electric signal. The radiation detector reads out a current value which flows between the source electrode and the drain electrode of the amplifier transistor (5), on the basis of a voltage change at the gate electrode of the amplifier transistor (5) caused by the electric signal. The radiation sensor further includes a reset circuit (7) which sets an initial value of the gate electrode voltage in a manner that the current value becomes a preset value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
