PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on an operator.SOLUTION: One embodiment of an X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprises a setting unit, a display control unit, and an exposure control unit. The setting unit sets association of a specified imaging mode with a predetermined switch. The display control unit makes a display unit display information indicating the imaging mode for which association with the predetermined switch has been set by the setting unit. The exposure control unit controls an X-ray tube so that X-rays are emitted under the condition according to the specified imaging mode when the predetermined switch is pressed down.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
