PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of manipulation steps required for executing functions well understood by a user.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes; setup means for setting up an item selected by a user among multiple items as an item to be displayed on a customized screen; display control means that provides control to display preset items on a menu screen and display the item set up by the setup means on the customized screen; and control means which provides control such that, when a specific item for performing a specific function displayed on the menu screen is selected and a manipulation for an execution command is performed, an execution confirmation screen for the specific function is displayed and, when the execution is instructed on the execution confirmation screen, the specific function is executed, and which provides control such that, when the specific item displayed on the customized screen is selected and a manipulation for an execution command is performed, the specific function is executed without displaying the execution confirmation screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 31
