Abstract:
A power inverter (100) includes a plurality of bridge arms (120a, 120b, 120c) and a plurality of switching circuits (140a, 140b, 140c). The bridge arms are electrically coupled to a first and a second dc node (N1, N2) and a neutral point node (Nn), and respectively coupled to a corresponding one of a plurality of ac output nodes (Na, Nb, Nc) to provide an ac output voltage (Va, Vb, Vc) and output current (Ia, Ib, Ic) via the ac output node. The switching circuits are respectively coupled between a corresponding one of the ac output nodes and the neutral point node. Each of the switching circuits includes a first transistor (Q1a, Q1b, Q1c), a second transistor (Q2a, Q2b, Q2c), a first diode (D1a, D1b, D1c) and a second diode (D2a, D2b, D2c). The first and the second transistors are coupled in series to each other. The first and the second diodes are electrically coupled in inverse-parallel to the first and the second transistors respectively.
