Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image signal of high image quality in a simple method, based on signals from a plurality of sub-pixels receiving light from different pupil regions, respectively.SOLUTION: In a single-plate imaging element 102, each pixel includes a plurality of sub-pixels G1a-G1d for receiving a light flux passing through different pupil regions of an imaging optical system 101, respectively, and photoelectrically converting a subject image from the imaging optical system. A camera signal processing circuit 103 selects a sub-pixel to be used among a plurality of pixels, for each of a plurality of sampling positions for generating an output image, and sets all color information of a plurality of colors, on the basis of a signal from a selected sub-pixel. In setting the color information, weights for cancelling a phase difference of a plurality of selected photoelectric conversion parts are added to the color information from the plurality of selected photoelectric conversion parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
