Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion system having an exhaust heat recovery system capable of starting an operation of reliably performing an assist operation when starting the assist operation from a halt state of a ship propulsion assist system.SOLUTION: A drive control device 21 of a ship propulsion assist system 3 controls a shaft generator-motor 13 so that an output of the shaft generator-motor 13 becomes a state of 0 kW when an assist operation or power supply operation is halted while a power generator 7 generates power. In the state of 0 kW, the drive control device keeps the output of the shaft generator-motor 13 in a state close to 0 even when a rotor of the shaft generator-motor 13 rotates. In a case of starting the assist operation from a halt state, because an electric current flowing into a coil of the shaft generator-motor 13 is controlled and limited, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a situation where the power supply operation is started from an uncontrolled state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
