Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pigment dispersion composition for black matrix which exhibits favorable light-shielding properties and the taper angle, large developing margin, high adhesiveness, and superior linearity in the edge. Also provided is a pigment dispersion resist composition for a black matrix. To this end, the pigment dispersion composition contains carbon black, silica, a pigment dispersant containing a basic group, a pigment inducer, a resin containing an acid group, and a solvent. The primary average particle diameter of the carbon black is 20-60 nm, and the content of the silica with the primary average particle diameter of 1-20 nm is 1-7 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the carbon black.
