Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device of a vehicle capable of improving all of fuel consumption of the vehicle, and driver's safety and drivability.SOLUTION: Inertia travel is executed (S9) when all of following inertia travel start conditions are satisfied (S8) that a vehicle (1) is in a key-on state and an engine (2) is operated (S2), an inertia travel switch (29) is on and an auxiliary brake switch (30) is off (S3), an accelerator is off in a D range and a brake is off (S4), within a prescribed acceleration range (S5), at a prescribed engine rotating speed or less (S6), within a prescribed vehicle speed (S7), and a road surface gradient is a prescribed negative first threshold value (G1) or more and a prescribed positive second threshold value (G2) or less. On the other hand, the inertia travel is terminated (S15) when an inertia travel termination condition that the road surface gradient is a prescribed third threshold value (G3) smaller than the first threshold value (G1), or less, is established (S14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
