Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof device and a waterproof device installation method, which can effectively prevent water from entering from both ends of a sheet by adequately giving a pressing force on both ends of the sheet.SOLUTION: A waterproof device 10 comprises: a storage frame 11, which is buried in a ground FL and fixes a lower side of a sheet 20 in a tensioned state; a jamb 12 disposed on both sides of the storage frame 11; a lateral holding hardware 55, which is disposed on the jamb 12 and presses the end of the sheet 20 against an inside surface 121 of the jamb through surface contact; and a lateral hardware pressing part 42 on which a contact part 45 which presses against the lateral holding hardware 55 inside the jamb 12 is linearly formed in vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
