Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven brake actuator which inhibits pressure rise in a boot to inhibit expansion of the boot.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven brake actuator 20 includes: an electric motor 21; a rod 23; a conversion mechanism 22 which converts rotary motion of the electric motor 21 into linear motion of the rod 23; a housing 24 configured to house the conversion mechanism 22 in an internal space A and in which the rod 23 protrudes from an opening part 24a so as to move forward and rearward; a boot 25 which is fixed to the rod 23 and the housing 24 so as to cover a protruding portion of the rod 23 from the housing 24 and the opening part 24a; and a valve mechanism 26 which allows air to move from an internal space B of the boot 25 into the internal space A of the housing 24 and restricts movement of air from the internal space A of the housing 24 to the internal space B of the boot 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
