Abstract:
SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises a sheet conveyance device 10 that conveys a sheet to a transfer part transferring a toner image. The sheet conveyance device 10 includes a pair of registration rollers 68 that is provided on the upstream side of a transfer roller 44 in a sheet conveyance direction and controls a sheet conveyance timing so that the sheet is synchronized with the toner image and the toner image is transferred to the sheet at the transfer part. The control part includes a CPU, and when the rear end of the sheet passes through the registration rollers 68, controls the operation of the registration rollers 68 so as to increase a frictional force between the sheet and the registration rollers 68.EFFECT: A burr on a cut surface of at the rear end of a sheet is surely eliminated to prevent the ends of the sheet from being soiled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
