Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collection device capable of reliably and efficiently removing a foreign substance adhered strongly to a work end edge.SOLUTION: A dust collection device comprises a dust removing head 1 having a slit groove 2 for continuously running a thin sheet-shaped work end edge We therethrough while receiving tension. The dust removing head 1 includes, at two groove side faces 21 and 21 of the slit groove 2, with one side discharge hole 3 for discharging air toward the work end edge We and two side face suction holes 5 and 5 for sucking the air discharged from the side discharge hole 3. The two side face suction holes 5 and 5 are separately arranged on an upstream side and a downstream side in a work running direction Y rather than the side discharge hole 3, and total suction area of the two side face holes 5 and 5 is set by 40 times or more and 400 times or less of discharge area of the one side discharge hole 3, thereby, a side suction total flow rate is configured to be larger than a side discharge flow rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
