Abstract:
Various embodiments of the invention provide an electronic vapour provision system (610) having a longitudinal axis. The electronic vapour provision system comprises a control unit (620) and at least one cartridge (630) configured to engage with and disengage from the control unit substantially along said longitudinal axis. The electronic vapour provision system further comprises an induction heating assembly comprising at least one drive coil (650A, 650B) and at least one heater element (655A, 655B). The at least one heater elements is located in the at least one cartridge (630). The at least one cartridge (630) is located, when engaged with the control unit (620), such that the at least one heater element is within the at least one drive coil. The electronic vapour provision system (610) is configured to support selective energisation of different portions of the cartridge (630) using the at least one drive coil and the at least one heater element.
