Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a soft magnetic material which enables the rise in thermal treatment temperature in a thermal treatment step, and which enables the achievement of a powder-compact magnetic core high in density and low in loss; a powder-compact magnetic core arranged by use of the soft magnetic material; and a method for manufacturing a powder-compact magnetic core.SOLUTION: A soft magnetic material comprises: soft magnetic powder; and an insulative coat covering the surface of the soft magnetic powder. The insulative coat includes: a silicone oligomer layer covering the outside of the soft magnetic powder; and a silicone resin layer formed outside the silicone oligomer layer. The silicone oligomer layer comprises a silicone oligomer having a T unit represented by the formula (1) below and an alkoxy silyl group; in which the content of the alkoxy silyl group to the silicone oligomer is 20-45 wt.%.
