Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which, when used with an organic EL display device, minimizes display defects due to external light reflection, displays images with high brightness, and presents good white color with good color balance using white sub-pixels, and to provide an inexpensive organic EL display device using the same.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by providing an organic EL display device color filter comprising: a transparent substrate; a coloring portion that includes a plurality of coloring layers of different colors and is formed in a pattern on the transparent substrate; and a white color portion that contains triarylmethane-based colorant and is formed in a pattern on the transparent substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
