Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve generation efficiency of ozone by preventing generation of turbulence in a discharge device.SOLUTION: A discharge device 10 includes a cylinder part 1a made of an insulator; a dome body 1 connected to one end of the cylindrical part 1a and having a dome part 1b which is also similarly made of the insulator; an inner electrode 2 arranged along the inner surface of the cylinder part 1a; an outer electrode 3 arranged along the outer surface of the cylinder part 1a; and voltage impression means 4 for impressing an AC voltage between the inner electrode 1 and the outer electrode 3. Then, the discharge device 10 is arranged in airflow from the outer periphery of the cylinder part 1a toward the outer periphery of the dome part 1b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
