Abstract:
Provided is a LED lamp that suppresses temperature increase in a cover. An LED lamp (1) is provided with: an LED (2) that emits light; a translucent cover (5) that surrounds the LED (2) in a light emitting direction; a fan (7) that is used for cooling; a gas discharge part (S1) that discharges a gas caused to flow by the fan (7) toward the vicinity of the surface (5a) of the cover (5) outside the cover (5); and a hood (81) that surrounds a part of the cover (5) all around, wherein the gas discharge part (S1) has an opening formed between the end (81a) of the hood (81) and the outer peripheral surface (5a) of the cover (5).
