Abstract:
To provide a solar cell module comprising solar cells arranged in a shingled manner.SOLUTION: A high efficiency configuration for a solar cell module comprises solar cells 10 conductively bonded to each other in a shingled manner to form super cells 100, which may be arranged to efficiently use an area of a solar module, reduce series resistance, and increase module efficiency. A front surface metallization pattern on the solar cells may be configured to enable a single-step stencil printing that is made easy by an overlapping configuration of the solar cells in a super cell. A photovoltaic power generation system may include two or more such high voltage solar cell modules electrically connected in parallel to each other and to an inverter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
