Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy by keeping a server room at a predetermined temperature or lower, and also determining at a small number of measurement points that a cooling device is in excessive operation or deficient in capability and then operating or stopping the cooling device.SOLUTION: A cooling system comprises: a cooling device 20 which cools hot air of a hot aisle HA and supplies cold air to a cold aisle CA; an opening part 30 which transfers air between the hot aisle HA and cold aisle CA; a cold aisle temperature sensor 40 which is installed on the side of the cold aisle CA nearby the opening part 30 and measures a cold aisle air temperature; a hot aisle temperature sensor 41 which is installed on the side of the hot aisle HA nearby the opening part 30 and measures a hot aisle air temperature; and a control device 50 which starts or stops the cooling device 20, the control device 50 performing the starting and stopping according to measured values of the cold aisle temperature sensor 40 and hot aisle temperature sensor 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
